How to Sell More Books & Build a Platform

I took a poll of over 150 authors and writers and these are the things that were the most commonly successful for them in order to build up their platform and to sell more books, I hope that you will do one or more of these things so you can be as successful!

1. Write articles for websites, newsletters and websites – include a bio with your phone #, website or email.
2. Start a blog of your own and comment on other relevant blogs.
3. Join and participate in online discussion groups. and include your website as part of your signature.
4. Teach at a community college with your book as the text.
5. Speak at events and conventions.
6. Start your own newsletter.
7. Land a gig writing for a regular newsletter or newspaper.
8. Send letters to the editor for magazines or newspaper articles you have read.
9. Keep doing tv and radio pitches.
